I would like to send a HUGE thank you to all of the amazing community members that made this possible. Not only was it a great example of what a group of people can do to make a difference it is a fantastic example to the children of this school district. Never let anyone tell you that you can’t do something because you can. It will require a lot of hard work and integrity but it will pay off in the end. So thank you again for starting the school year off right!
Next stop…the polls in November…
Thank you to all the people who have had a part in any way in fighting for this precious school, our children’s education in general and what is best for this district going forward. So many people coming together, many strangers when this began, all working towards the same goal is what made us successful. A perfect example of what working together can accomplish! There will be many challenges ahead, but I have no doubt that the people in this community working together with people who have genuine best intentions for this district, will meet those challenges and prevail. Bravo NA !!
I’m so pleased to see that the efforts of so many wonderful people have paid off. Members of the community have spent the past year offering a variety of perspectives and expertise, exposing flaws in both the case for closing ANY school and for targeting Peebles. I’m glad that the Board and Administration have acknowledged that we need all of our elementary schools to support a sound educational model with more reasonable class sizes – which, in turn, supports better outcomes (and thus stronger property values)! This has been a wonderful example of how people can come together and make a difference.
